K-pop artists soundtrack 2026 FIFA World Cup with new releases

K-pop's global reach extends to the world of football, with several artists contributing music to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Following BTS member Jungkook's groundbreaking performance of the first FIFA World Cup anthem by a Korean artist in 2022, the genre continues its presence on the tournament's soundtrack.

Blackpink's Lisa leads the charge with "Goals," an official song released on May 21. The track, a blend of Latin pop, K-pop, and Afrobeats with multilingual lyrics, was produced by Grammy winner Cirkut and features Brazilian star Anitta and Nigerian singer Rema. Lisa is slated to perform "Goals" at the World Cup's opening ceremony in Los Angeles, marking a significant K-pop presence at the event.

Adding to the K-pop contributions, boy group TWS, under Hybe subsidiary Pledis Entertainment, will release "Dream With Us." While not part of FIFA's official soundtrack, the song supports the South Korean men's national soccer team with a message of belief and shared dreams. Dynamic Duo, featuring Woodz, also released a World Cup version of their song "Watch It, Feel It," designed to capture the South Korean team's determination.

These musical collaborations underscore K-pop's increasing visibility and integration into major global events, transcending language and cultural barriers to connect with a worldwide audience.
