K265,000 multi-purpose hall boosts education in remote Bougainville community built by NGIP Agmark.

A significant enhancement to educational infrastructure has been realized in one of Bougainville's most remote areas with the official commissioning of a new multi-purpose school hall. NGIP Agmark Limited funded and built the facility at Konkopine Primary School, valued at K265,770.

The state-of-the-art hall, completed in early 2024, was formally handed over to the school community by managers and representatives from NGIP Agmark's Buka and Arawa branches. This development is expected to provide a vital space for various school activities, supporting both academic and extracurricular needs.

The project represents a substantial investment in the remote community, aiming to bolster educational opportunities and provide a modern facility that was previously lacking.
