Kaduna police rescue three kidnapped victims, dislodge bandit hideout

The operation, which began with credible intelligence on August 21 regarding suspicious movements, culminated in a fierce gun battle when suspects opened fire on security personnel. The police, collaborating with local vigilantes, pursued the suspects into the bush, forcing them to flee with injuries. A subsequent search of a house revealed it was used as a bandit hideout, where the three victims were found unharmed.
