Gerber recounted that as a child, she was told she was "possessed." The ritual to address this, she revealed, involved a didgeridoo, a wind instrument traditionally associated with Indigenous Australians. "They did the exorcism on me. They put the didgeridoo all over me," Gerber stated, emphasizing the novelty of this revelation.

Her mother, Cindy Crawford, reportedly remained concerned about potential spiritual influences years later. When Gerber starred in the 2021 horror series 'American Horror Story: Double Feature,' Crawford allegedly provided her with holy water as a precaution against possession during filming.
