Kakao Foundation Expands Webtoon Creator Workspace Support

The Kakao Creative Foundation is significantly boosting its support for webtoon artists by expanding access to dedicated workspaces. In partnership with the Korea Manhwa Contents Agency, the foundation has formalized an agreement to enhance the cluster facilities at the Webtoon Convergence Center and Business Center. This collaboration, building on a previous pact since 2024, will increase rental support for webtoon creators residing in these centers.

The expanded program is designed to alleviate the financial strain on artists by subsidizing workspace rentals.
