Kalybek Zhumadylov Appointed Executive Director of Kyrgyz Development Agency

Kalybek Zhumadylov has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Community Development and Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic (ARIS). The announcement was made by members of the agency's supervisory board.

During the introduction of Zhumadylov, Tilek Bayanbek, head of the Sustainable Development Goals and External Assistance Coordination Department of the Presidential Administration, highlighted the importance of continuing effective program and project implementation. These initiatives are aimed at fostering sustainable regional development, strengthening local governance, and improving living standards across the country.

Zhumadylov brings a wealth of experience to his new role. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the head of the Issyk-Kul district. Prior to that, he worked as a state inspector in the Department of Organizational Work and Interaction with Regions within the Office for Preparing Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Administration.

Academically, Kalybek Zhumadylov is well-qualified, having graduated from the Law School of the International University of Kyrgyzstan. He furthered his education by earning a master's degree and holds a PhD in Law.
