Kamal Thapa questions authenticity of letter seeking dismissal of 3 Bagmati Lawmakers

Kamal Thapa, a prominent leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has raised doubts about the legitimacy of a letter intended to dismiss three lawmakers from the Bagmati Province. Thapa publicly shared his suspicions on Facebook, posting a letter dated August 24 that bore the signature of RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and called for disciplinary action against the three provincial representatives.

Questioning the letter's validity, Thapa pointed out that the RPP's Central Working Committee had not convened a meeting since August 20. "I am surprised by how this decision was made when no meeting of the RPP Central Working Committee has been held since August 20," Thapa wrote on his social media.

Further fueling his skepticism, Thapa noted the absence of a meeting date on the document. "Since the letter does not mention the date on which the meeting was held, I also wonder whether it is fake. I hope this is not true," he added, expressing his unease about the potential fabrication of the dismissal notice.
