Kano Committed to Tinubu’s Re-election in 2027, Says Governor Yusuf, Allocates Plots of Land to Aides

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has declared his administration's unwavering commitment to securing victory for President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general election. Speaking at an interactive session with government officials in Kano, Yusuf emphasized that Kano would be at the forefront of mobilizing support for Tinubu's re-election. "Kano State is fully committed to ensuring victory for the APC at all levels in the 2027 general election. We will lead the country in delivering overwhelming votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because we believe in the leadership and vision of this administration," Yusuf stated. He further directed all political appointees to register as APC members immediately, stressing the importance of every official actively participating in strengthening the party's structures across the state ahead of the crucial elections. The governor also reaffirmed his administration's dedication to ensuring the APC's success in all upcoming elections, from presidential to local government levels, highlighting the need to consolidate the party's strength at the grassroots. To incentivize political office holders, Governor Yusuf approved the allocation of plots of land to over 300 political aides, including Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants. Additionally, each beneficiary will receive N100,000. The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Ismail Falgore, and the Kano APC Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, also expressed confidence in marketing Tinubu's achievements and the party's readiness for the 2027 electoral contest.
