Kano gov retains deputy as running mate for 2027

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has officially nominated his deputy, Murtala Garo, to serve as his running mate for the upcoming 2027 governorship election. The announcement came during a strategic meeting with federal political appointees of President Bola Tinubu at the Kano Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
