Kanyi Ajayi, Ezekiel Nathaniel Miss Podium in Silesia Diamond League

Nigerian sprinter Kanyinsola Ajayi narrowly missed the podium at the Silesia Diamond League, finishing fourth in the men's 100m. Ajayi crossed the finish line in 9.94 seconds, just behind American Christian Coleman who secured third place with 9.93 seconds. The race was won by Jamaican Oblique Seville, who set a new meeting record of 9.83 seconds.

Meanwhile, Botswana's Collen Kebinatshipi delivered a standout performance in the men's 400m. Kebinatshipi shattered the meeting record, winning the event in a remarkable 43.59 seconds. American Rai Benjamin finished second with his first-ever sub-44-second performance at 43.83 seconds, while South Africa's Zakithi Nene took third place in 44.37 seconds.

Nigeria's Ezekiel Nathaniel also made his mark on the track, securing fourth place in the men's 400m hurdles. Nathaniel completed the race in 47.83 seconds, highlighting the strong presence and competitive spirit of African athletes on the international Diamond League stage.
