Kaohsiung Aquas Host U12 Invitational Tournament, Players Share Skills

The Kaohsiung Aquas professional basketball team continues its commitment to grassroots sports promotion during the TPBL offseason. For the second consecutive year, the team organized the "Golden Construction Hearts Waves U12 Invitational Tournament" at Huashan Elementary School in Kaohsiung.

The event brought together eight elementary school teams from across central and southern Taiwan. Aquas players, led by captain Yu Chun-an, served as coaches in a "basketball clinic," imparting skills in 1-on-1, 2-on-2, and 3-on-3 play. The team's athletic trainer also conducted a "Sports Protection Clinic."

Golden Construction General Manager Hong Rui-tang emphasized the tournament's goal of fostering teamwork and sportsmanship from a young age. Yu Chun-an encouraged the young athletes, urging them not to fear failure and to learn from their mistakes to become stronger. Changhua Qiaoxin Elementary School emerged as the champions, followed by Xinkang Elementary School in second place and Jiufenzi Elementary School in third.
