Kaohsiung's Tsing Hua Campus Area Sees Surge in 'Light Luxury' Housing Demand

Kaohsiung is poised for a real estate boom in the "light luxury" housing sector around the new National Tsing Hua University campus. The university's expansion, located near Lotus Pond on the former Zuoying Junior High School site, is part of a government initiative to enhance higher education and nurture talent for the burgeoning tech industry, especially with TSMC's new fab in Nantze.

The campus aims to become an internationally competitive research and education hub, integrating with the high-speed rail station in Zuoying and the National Freeway No. 10. This strategic location provides rapid access to TSMC's facilities, major shopping centers like Hanshin Arena and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, as well as cultural sites like the Museum of Fine Arts and Lotus Pond. This connectivity is attracting tech professionals and property investors, driving demand for housing.

Transportation is a key advantage, with proximity to major roads and public transit, including the Zuoying HSR station and MRT Red Line's R16 station.
