Karina Milei: 'We will improve every place for every Argentine'

Karina Milei, the President's sister and Secretary General of the Presidency, declared that the ruling party, La Libertad Avanza (LLA), will persist in its efforts to "improve every place for every Argentine."

Speaking at the inauguration of a new party headquarters in Buenos Aires, Milei, who also leads LLA, emphasized the party's commitment to the nation's citizens. "We are going to keep working to improve every place for every Argentine. For all Argentines we go," she stated.

The inauguration of the LLA's Buenos Aires provincial headquarters in the San Telmo neighborhood marks the initial steps in the electoral campaign for the 2027 presidential re-election of Javier Milei. The event was attended by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Martín Menem, along with Sharif Menem and national legislator Gino Visconti.

The gathering occurred shortly after LLA held its first meeting with leaders from the PRO party to discuss a potential electoral alliance in the Buenos Aires province. Sebastián Pareja, a deputy and LLA's Buenos Aires organizer, expressed a "will to win the Province" and suggested that "going together" is a viable strategy. He indicated that Diego Santilli, the current Chief of Staff, "seems to be the person who best represents" their space.

In parallel, PRO's Secretary General Fernando de Andreis and the head of the PRO bloc in the Chamber of Deputies, Cristian Ritondo, met with Santilli and Deputy Secretary of Institutional Management Eduardo “Lule” Menem at the Casa Rosada. A government statement described the meeting as a "very good first step" toward "building joint work and shielding the change," noting that both parties "share the conviction that Argentina cannot fall back into the hands of populism."
