Karol G, Shakira, Feid, Ozuna among Latin music stars with new releases

Colombian superstar Karol G leads a week of significant Latin music releases with her sixth album, 'No me arrepiento de sentir tanto.' The new 14-track project moves away from her previous optimistic tone, delving into themes of heartbreak with darker textures influenced by rhythm and blues, electronic music, and synthesizers. The album features collaborations with international artists like Drake and Bruno Mars, as well as Spanish artists Judeline and Rusowsky, and Greg Gonzalez of Cigarettes After Sex, with production by Puerto Rican hitmaker Tainy.

Adding to the excitement, Shakira has released the Spanish version of 'Dai Dai,' the official anthem for the 2026 World Cup, which she recorded with Nigerian artist Burna Boy. She performed the song during the tournament's opening ceremony in Mexico City and at the halftime show in the United States.

Reggaeton fans have new music from Colombian artists Feid and Ryan Castro, who have teamed up for their third collaboration, 'Mentira.' The track, which explores mistrust in relationships, follows their previous successful joint efforts 'Monastery' (2021) and 'Ritmo de Medallo' (2023). The song is set to feature on both artists' upcoming albums.

Puerto Rican artist Ozuna continues his prolific output with 'ZIZI,' a summery, nocturnal track featuring compatriot Omar Courtz. The music video for the collaboration was filmed across Puerto Rico and Spain. Meanwhile, Mexican electronic duo RØZ debuts their first album, 'SE ESTÁ HACIENDO TARDE,' featuring 19 tracks, including a collaboration with Peso Pluma titled 'DAYTONA.' Colombian singer Andrés Cepeda also revisits his project fusing his style with a large orchestra on 'Andrés Cepeda Big Band 2,' recorded live over twelve concerts. Dominican artist De La Rose rounds out the releases with her EP, 'Mi carpe diem.'
