Kartal mayor visits Minister Göktaş, then Kılıçdaroğlu

Kartal Mayor Gökhan Yüksel has held meetings with both Turkey’s family and social services minister and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who the Republican People’s Party’s official account identifies as its leader under an “absolute nullity” administration.

Yüksel visited Kılıçdaroğlu at the CHP headquarters. The party account said Kılıçdaroğlu had received the mayor, describing Yüksel as a local leader shaped by the party’s values and long involved in its political struggle.

Yüksel thanked Kılıçdaroğlu for the reception and said he would continue working to preserve the values of the century-old CHP.

The previous day, Yüksel visited Family and Social Services Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş in her office. He said they discussed Kartal’s priorities and unresolved issues, and expressed hope that the meeting would strengthen cooperation between their institutions.
