Kasserine: Djebel Chaambi campsite project to imminently resume

The Djebel Chaambi campsite and leisure center in Kasserine is poised for a revival, with renovation work scheduled to recommence soon. This comes after a hiatus of over a year, during which the project stalled for unspecified reasons.

The green light for the resumption of work was given following the recent approval of an amendment for the planned works by the Kasserine regional public markets commission. The project, which was entrusted to a specialized company, had been suspended for more than twelve months.

With an estimated cost of approximately 500,000 dinars, the project's primary goal is to rehabilitate a dedicated space for youth activities at Djebel Chaambi. Authorities anticipate that the revitalized center will significantly contribute to energizing associative life and leisure pursuits within the Kasserine region.

Furthermore, the renovated center is intended to host youth delegation exchange programs with various regions across the country. This initiative aims to strengthen national efforts focused on youth engagement and development, fostering connections and shared experiences among young Tunisians.
