Katie Taylor v Flora Pili: Live updates as Irish star closes out career at a packed Croke Park

Katie Taylor is due to enter the ring shortly after 10 p.m. at Dublin’s Croke Park for an undisputed women’s super-lightweight title bout, as the Irish star prepares to close out her career.

The live undercard coverage reported that Taylor Bevan stopped Dublin fighter Emmet Brennan in the sixth round. Brennan was knocked down repeatedly, including by body shots, before Bevan ended the fight with a left hook. The coverage said the bout should have been stopped before the final punch.

Limerick’s former world title challenger Paddy Donovan was also boxing Belfast’s Tyrone McKenna, who had gone down in the second round but survived to reach the third.
