KATSEYE Dominates UK Charts with 'WILD' EP, Achieves Record-Breaking Success

Global girl group KATSEYE, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, has made a significant mark on the UK Official Charts, achieving new personal bests with their third EP, 'WILD'. The EP debuted at number 2 on the latest Official Singles Chart (August 21-27), surpassing their previous best of 55th with 'Beautiful Chaos' last year.

Their success extends to the singles chart, where the title track 'Hootie Frutti' debuted at number 16. The pre-release single 'Animal' climbed four spots to a new personal best of 12th, and another track, 'Bel Air,' entered the chart at 97th. This marks the first time KATSEYE has had three songs simultaneously charting in the UK Top 100.

KATSEYE has demonstrated remarkable consistency in the UK market this year. Including the current singles, they have achieved five UK Top 40 singles in 2024: 'Internet Girl' (24th in January), 'Pinky Up' (14th in April), the collaboration 'Iconic By Mistake' with Le Sserafim and ILLIT (22nd in June), 'Animal' (12th), and 'Hootie Frutti' (16th). This accomplishment makes them the first girl group since Little Mix five years ago to secure five Top 40 singles within a single year.

Overall, KATSEYE has charted nine songs on the Official Singles Chart, including 'Nalli' (52nd), 'Gabriella' (38th), 'Internet Girl' (24th), 'Pinky Up' (14th), 'Touch' (82nd), 'Animal' (12th), 'Hootie Frutti' (16th), 'Bel Air' (97th), and 'Iconic By Mistake' (22nd). The group, composed of members Yoonchae, Sophia, Daniela, Lara, and Megan, is set to embark on 'The WILDWORLD TOUR' in London and Manchester next month.
