Katsina governor swears in two new Kadis, urges justice and fairness

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda, has sworn in two new Kadis for the Upper Sharia Court, emphasizing the solemn responsibility of their oath of office. The newly appointed judges, Kadi Ibrahim Abdullahi Yakubu Dandume and Kadi Bala Salisu Daura, were recommended by the National Judicial Council and approved by the governor.

During the ceremony in Katsina, Governor Radda stressed the critical importance of fair and impartial justice for peace and coexistence. He urged the Kadis to serve the people and the state with integrity, fairness, and the fear of Allah, noting that their oath of office clearly defined their duties.

At a critical time like this, when the fair and impartial dispensation of justice is essential to peace, harmony and peaceful coexistence, you have a great responsibility to serve the people and the state with integrity, fairness and the fear of Allah.

The governor believes these appointments will bolster the state's judiciary and enhance public trust in the Sharia judicial system. He commended the judiciary, under the Chief Judge's leadership, for its dedication to justice delivery and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting judicial functions. Radda called for continued cooperation and unity among all institutions to ensure peace and security across Katsina State, stating, "We do not have any State better than Katsina."
