KCC Silicon Wins Award; Museums Partner for Exhibition; Health Survey Paper Contest Announced

KCC Silicon has earned recognition at the 'in-cosmetics Korea' exhibition, a global event for cosmetic ingredients. The company secured a Silver award in the 'Innovative Zone' for its cosmetic silicone ingredient, 'SeraSense® RBS 12'. The award highlights KCC Silicon's proprietary resin blend technology, innovation, product performance, and market potential, which were highly evaluated by the judges.

In other news, the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity (KOFAC), in collaboration with the Korean Society for Preventive Medicine, is inviting submissions for its 'Regional Community Health Survey Results Utilization Excellent Paper' contest. The deadline for applications is July 31. The competition aims to promote the use of regional community health survey data for enhancing public health and reducing health disparities. A preliminary review will be followed by on-site judging at an awards ceremony scheduled for September 17.

Meanwhile, the Hansung Baekje Museum has established a partnership with the Guro Cultural Foundation. The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding on June 12 to jointly organize a special exhibition in 2027. To commemorate the Guro Cultural Foundation's 20th anniversary next year, the museum will present a re-imagined version of its exhibition 'The Secret of Pungnap-dong Earthen Walled City Revealed by the Great Flood of Eulchuk Year,' at the foundation's gallery, Guruji.
