Nielsen stressed the significance of the Danish Football Union (DBU) maintaining a visible presence at games in the top-tier league.

He believes that direct, face-to-face conversations with coaches and players are crucial for evaluating potential candidates for the national team. While acknowledging that most top players are based abroad, Nielsen highlighted the value of showing interest and support for Danish football by being present at local stadiums.
