KIA EV3 2027: prices and versions in Mexico

Kia is making a bold move in the Mexican market by launching its new all-electric EV3 SUV with an exclusive pre-sale on Mercado Libre. This strategy aims to broaden access to zero-emission vehicles, combining distinctive design, advanced technology, and everyday practicality.

The EV3 is built on Kia's Electric Global Modular Platform (e-GMP) and boasts a futuristic aesthetic defined by its "Opposites United" design philosophy. Geometric lines, a refined Tiger Face front with Star Map lighting, and integrated door handles contribute to its aerodynamic profile. The vehicle's robust stance is further emphasized by a large C-pillar and a floating roof effect, setting it apart in the compact electric SUV segment.

Two versions will be available: the EX, featuring a 54 kWh battery offering up to 436 kilometers of range, and the SXL, equipped with an 81 kWh battery providing an impressive 605 kilometers under the WLTP cycle. This positions the SXL among the leaders in its class for driving range. Notable features include a nearly 30-inch segmented panoramic display, a Harman Kardon sound system, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and a NACS charging port compatible with Tesla's network.

Furthermore, the EV3 introduces Kia Connect to Mexico, enabling services like over-the-air (OTA) remote updates and Digital Key 2.0. The model's innovative design and technology have already garnered international accolades, including the iF Design Award 2025, Red Dot Design Award 2025, and World Car of the Year 2025. To facilitate home charging, Kia Mexico will include the necessary equipment and installation services for a residential charger as part of the purchase.
