Kia EV3: Prices and Versions in Mexico

Kia is bringing the EV3 to Mexico as a compact electric SUV designed to combine futuristic styling with the demands of everyday driving. The model emphasizes range, technology and practicality, while introducing what the brand presents as a new phase in its design language.

The exterior uses straight lines and a modern interpretation of Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy. Vertical headlights define the front, while the rear lights sit at the outer edges of the body. Matte-black details and satin-gray lower trim add contrast, particularly on green and blue versions, and give the vehicle a sturdy appearance despite its compact dimensions.

Inside, the EV3 takes a modern and sophisticated approach with neutral colors and a mix of materials and textures. The driver’s area includes a display measuring almost 30 inches, combining the instrument cluster, climate controls and infotainment screen. Kia has also retained buttons and knobs for commonly used functions. The dashboard uses fabric near the occupants and good-quality hard plastic elsewhere, creating a minimalist cabin.

The central console sits level with the floor and includes cupholders and a wireless charger. Buttons for safety systems can be reached from the armrest. Passenger space is generous, with ample legroom and headroom in the rear, along with air vents, USB ports and a rear armrest.

During a first-contact drive from Kia’s factory in Pesquería to San Antonio, Texas, three people traveled roughly 500 kilometers via Nuevo Laredo. Temperatures exceeded 40°C, requiring frequent air-conditioning use to keep everyone comfortable. The luggage area accommodated all three passengers’ hand luggage, aided by a two-level cargo floor.
