Kim Go-eun Wins Grand Prize at Blue Dragon Series Awards, Cries Tears of Gratitude

Actress Kim Go-eun was overcome with emotion as she accepted the Grand Prize at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, held in Incheon. Park Hae-soo secured the Best Actor award for his compelling performance in "Squid Game," while Shin Hye-sun took home Best Actress for her role in "Welcome to Serenity." Yoon Kyung-ho received the Best Supporting Actor award for "The Recruit," humorously accepting it from presenter Lee Kwang-soo, who feigned annoyance. Park Se-jin, awarded Best Supporting Actress for "Welcome to Serenity," was also visibly moved, with her husband, actor Byun Yo-han, cheering her on from the audience.

The evening's most prestigious award, the Grand Prize, went to Kim Go-eun for her role in the Netflix drama "Yumi's Cells." This year marks the 10th anniversary of the popular drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," in which Kim Go-eun also starred. Fans celebrated her growth from a young actress to a major award winner.

Kim Go-eun delivered an emotional acceptance speech, thanking her fellow nominees and the seniors who mentored her. "I have never taken acting for granted," she stated, her voice thick with emotion.
