Kim Soo-hyun Returns to Public Greetings, Expresses Happiness After Year-Long Hiatus

South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun has reappeared in a video message for the Filipino fashion brand BENCH, marking his return to public greetings after approximately one year. In the released footage, Kim, a model for the brand, conveyed his warm wishes with a bright smile, stating, "Hello. I am BENCH model Kim Soo-hyun. I missed you all very much. I am happy to greet you after a long time. Please look forward to it. Thank you."

The brand recently renewed its contract with Kim Soo-hyun, who was initially selected as an advertising model in 2024. This reappearance comes after a period of relative quiet for the actor, who has been focusing on his career and personal matters.

Earlier, police had concluded their investigation into allegations of dating a minor against Kim Soo-hyun. On May 29, the authorities decided not to prosecute the case, finding no grounds for the accusations. The allegations had surfaced in May of the previous year when the family of the late Kim Sae-ron claimed that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with her since she was a minor, filing a complaint for violation of the Child Welfare Act.

The accusers had held a press conference, releasing parts of a recorded conversation between Kim Sae-ron and an acquaintance. This recording was presented as evidence to support their claim that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron had been dating since she was a middle school student. However, the police investigation ultimately found no evidence to substantiate these claims.
