King Charles III meets Prince Harry, Meghan, and children for first time in four years

This trip represents Harry and Meghan's first joint visit to the United Kingdom since attending Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in 2022. Prince Harry had previously returned alone on several occasions, including a visit last September to see his father.

The family's visit was almost canceled just days prior. The Duke of Sussex reportedly feared his children would not be able to see the King due to the British government's refusal to grant them police protection during their stay. Harry was concerned about his children being "hounded by paparazzi" upon arrival.
