King Salman and Crown Prince offer condolences to Philippines president over earthquake victims

Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman have extended their condolences to the President of the Philippines over the victims of a recent earthquake. The tremors struck the southern island of Mindanao, causing significant loss of life and injuries.

In separate messages, the King and the Crown Prince conveyed their deepest sympathies to President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. They also extended their sincere condolences to the families of those who perished in the disaster and to the people of the Philippines as a whole. The Saudi leadership also offered wishes for a swift recovery to all those who were injured in the earthquake.

The earthquake tragically resulted in the deaths of at least 37 people. Additionally, 487 individuals sustained injuries as a result of the powerful seismic event that hit the southern region of Mindanao.
