Kingston man charged with larceny of motor vehicle

A 37-year-old Kingston man, Oniel White, faces charges of larceny of a motor vehicle and malicious injury to property. The accusations stem from the theft of a Toyota Fielder motor car from Cortina Avenue in Kingston 13. The incident occurred between the evening of Thursday, July 9, and the early morning of Friday, July 10.

Reports indicate that the stolen vehicle was recovered by the police during their investigation. Following the recovery, law enforcement conducted an operation on Sunday, July 12, in the St. Andrew South area, leading to White's arrest. He was subsequently interviewed in the presence of his attorney before being formally charged.

White, who resides on Tower Avenue in Olympic Way, Kingston 11, is awaiting his court date, which is currently being finalized.
