Wu Tsung-hsien, the Kuomintang (KMT) candidate for Yilan County Magistrate, has officially launched his policy website, titled 'Yilan Walks a New Path.' The digital platform serves as a comprehensive hub designed to connect with voters and articulate his vision for the county.

The website boasts four key features, with content to be updated regularly. Its primary function is to serve as a policy database, detailing Wu's proposals such as the 'Yilan Line + 1' strategy and cross-county cooperation ideas involving Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, and Yilan. It also outlines policies tailored for various demographics, including the sandwich generation, the elderly, women and children, and laborers.

A significant highlight is the real-time fact-checking section, established to combat election-period misinformation and smear campaigns. The team will promptly publish verified information and counter-narratives, while also encouraging the public to report suspected fake news. This feature underscores a commitment to transparency and accuracy amidst the electoral contest.
