Korea Institute of Educational Facility Safety Marks 78th Anniversary, Pledges Harmony and Stronger Safety

The Korea Institute of Educational Facility Safety (KIEF) celebrated its 78th anniversary with a ceremony held at the Paikbeom Kim Gu Memorial Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on June 6th. Approximately 150 employees attended the event.

The anniversary event began with historical education and an exhibition tour, reflecting on the patriotic and clean spirit of independence activists. Following this, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Yoo Eun-hae delivered a special lecture. She emphasized the critical importance of facility safety amidst changing educational environments and offered insights into the roles and directions for institutional members in realizing public value.

During the official commemorative ceremony, KIEF Chairman Huh Sung-woo and Labor Union Chairman Kim Sung-yu solidified their commitment to mutual cooperation, demonstrating their dedication to labor-management harmony. An awards ceremony also recognized outstanding employees who have contributed to educational facility safety and organizational development.
