KRSU Rector Holds Unusual Meeting in Open Field for New Campus Plans

Leadership from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) convened an unusual off-site meeting in an open field, the very land earmarked for the university's future campus. The gathering brought together deans, department heads, and other staff members to envision the university's expansion.

A total of 138 participants attended the meeting, with some joining remotely. They toured the nearly 30-hectare site, discussing the prospective layout for new academic buildings, student dormitories, sports facilities, and public green spaces. The development plan also prioritizes the integration of essential engineering infrastructure and the preservation of existing natural greenery.

University officials highlighted the significance of this project, describing it as the largest infrastructure undertaking in KRSU's history. The new campus is intended to foster a state-of-the-art educational environment for both students and faculty, marking a substantial step forward in the university's development.
