Kuwait Airways sponsors sixth Arab Veterans Tennis Championship in Egypt

The sixth Arab Veterans Tennis Championship has officially commenced in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, drawing 60 players from 11 Arab nations. Organized by the Arab Tennis Federation, headed by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jaber, in cooperation with the Egyptian Tennis Federation and under the sponsorship of Kuwait Airways, the event highlights the growing appeal of veterans' tennis across the region.

Ali Al-Mutairi, Secretary-General of the Arab Tennis Federation, expressed satisfaction with the strong turnout, describing the championship as a significant sporting and social gathering that strengthens camaraderie among Arab tennis players. During the tournament's draw ceremony, Al-Mutairi underscored the federation's dedication to veteran competitions, recognizing their considerable sporting and social value. He commended the Egyptian Tennis Federation for its thorough preparations and organization, anticipating a successful event both technically and operationally.

Al-Mutairi also affirmed the federation's resolve to maintain its competition schedule despite regional challenges, noting that the high player participation reflects the trust and collaboration among member federations and participants. He reiterated the Arab Tennis Federation's commitment to advancing all its events, including those for veterans, age groups, and elite players. Appreciation was extended to Kuwait Airways for its sponsorship and to the Egyptian Tennis Federation for hosting and managing the championship.
