Kuwait targets illegal expat bachelor housing in Ahmadi

Kuwait Municipality has intensified its crackdown on illegal housing arrangements for expatriate bachelors in the Ahmadi Governorate. The Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department recently carried out a field inspection targeting private, investment, commercial, and industrial residential areas.

The campaign specifically focused on violations related to bachelor accommodations within private and model residential zones. In Sabah Al-Ahmad Marine City alone, authorities issued 25 citations for non-compliance with housing regulations.

These inspections are part of a broader, ongoing effort by the Kuwait Municipality to monitor and address housing violations across different governorates. The schedule for these campaigns is coordinated between the Public Relations Department and the relevant municipal departments, ensuring a systematic approach to enforcement.
