Kuwait U-18 basketball team heads to Cairo for training camp

Kuwait's national under-18 basketball team has departed for Cairo, Egypt, to commence a crucial 15-day training camp. This intensive preparation is designed to ready the squad for the upcoming Gulf Championship, which serves as a qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup finals.

The delegation, headed by Mohammed Al-Hassawi, Acting Assistant Secretary-General and Chairman of the Training and National Teams Committee, comprises team administrator Ghazi Al-Otaibi, Serbian head coach Marko, Serbian fitness coach Milan, assistant coach Yahya Al-Bahar, and a roster of 16 players. Al-Hassawi emphasized the importance of the overseas camp in the team's build-up, stating the federation's ambition to return to podium finishes in youth competitions.

The technical staff has meticulously planned the training program to ensure the players achieve optimal readiness for the tournament.
