Kuwaiti campaigns yield over 20,000 violations, hundreds arrested

Kuwaiti security and traffic authorities have intensified their efforts to enforce laws and maintain order, carrying out widespread campaigns that led to more than 20,000 traffic violations and hundreds of arrests. These operations, conducted between late May and early June, focused on improving traffic discipline and addressing public safety concerns across the country. Official statistics reveal that the General Directorate of Emergency Police and the General Directorate of Traffic issued a significant number of citations and apprehended numerous individuals. The campaigns also involved handling over a thousand traffic accidents and reports, with many vehicles impounded for serious infractions. Authorities emphasized that these ongoing efforts are crucial for enhancing road safety and ensuring public order throughout Kuwait. The strict enforcement aims to deter violations and promote a safer environment for all residents.
