Kuwaiti Dentist Arrested for Alleged Drug Trafficking, Narcotics Seized

Kuwaiti authorities have arrested a dentist on charges of possessing and trafficking narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The operation was conducted by the General Department of Criminal Investigation as part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal activities and negative social phenomena.

According to the Ministry of Interior, investigations revealed that the suspect allegedly used social media platforms to promote and distribute narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The suspect reportedly offered these substances in exchange for engaging in immoral acts. Following extensive surveillance and intelligence gathering, security personnel successfully set up an ambush and apprehended the suspect red-handed in a rented room.

During the initial operation, officers seized two bags of hashish, three bags of methamphetamine, 10 Lyrica capsules, and a bag containing narcotic powder, along with drug paraphernalia. A subsequent search of the suspect's residence, conducted under a warrant from the Public Prosecution, uncovered additional quantities of narcotics.

These additional seized items included a plastic container of methamphetamine, 46 Captagon tablets, three pieces of hashish of varying sizes, and various psychotropic pills. The arrested dentist and all confiscated items have been transferred to the competent legal authorities to undergo the necessary legal proceedings.
