Kyrgyz Athlete Sezim Zhumanazarova Wins Bronze in Poland Wrestling Tournament

Kyrgyzstani wrestler Sezim Zhumanazarova has earned a bronze medal at an International Wrestling Tournament in Poland. Competing in the demanding 59-kilogram weight class, Zhumanazarova demonstrated her skill by securing victories against Polish athletes in the early stages of the competition.

The path to the medal was somewhat unconventional. Zhumanazarova was slated to face an opponent from Norway for the third-place match. However, her Norwegian rival did not appear for the bout, resulting in Zhumanazarova being awarded the bronze medal by default.

This achievement adds to the national team's success at the tournament. Another Kyrgyz athlete, Gulnura Tashtanbekova, also secured a bronze medal, competing in the 65-kilogram weight class. Tashtanbekova showcased a strong performance, winning three out of her four matches.

Adding to the family's success, Sezim's older sister, Meerim Zhumanazarova, claimed a gold medal in the 69-kilogram category, highlighting a strong showing for the Zhumanazarova sisters on the international stage.
