Kyrgyz Cabinet Extends Preferential Social Contribution Payments for Sewing Industry

The Kyrgyz Cabinet has extended a preferential system for social contribution payments for businesses in the sewing and textile industry. This supportive measure will now remain in effect until January 1, 2030.

The decision modifies the procedures for calculating and paying state social insurance contributions. Under the extended regulation, companies in these sectors will continue to base their social insurance contributions on 40 percent of the average wage in their respective districts or cities. This preferential order was initially introduced as part of a broader state support program for the industry.

The initiative aims to alleviate financial pressures on manufacturers and bolster the competitiveness of Kyrgyz-made products in the market. By offering these tax and insurance preferences, the government seeks to ensure the industry's stability and growth.
