Kyrgyzstan digitizes import inspections with Sanarip VET system

Kyrgyzstan is digitizing its state veterinary control system with the introduction of the Sanarip VET information system. This move aims to enhance transparency in government services and bolster food security by improving the inspection process for goods imported from third countries.

Inspections are now conducted at the Kant temporary storage warehouse, with inspectors using body cameras to objectively record all actions. The results are entered directly into the Sanarip VET system, capturing details such as goods name, country of origin, manufacturer, batch size, and vehicle information electronically. This process ensures transparency, promotes discipline, and helps prevent disputes.

The Sanarip VET system automatically generates electronic veterinary inspection reports. After an inspection, certificates from exporting countries are converted into EAEU veterinary certificates within the system. The Ministry of Agriculture reports that these digital tools are bringing state veterinary control to a modern standard, simplifying paperwork, ensuring data accuracy, and boosting the efficiency of public services.
