Kyrgyzstan: Power outages scheduled for Bishkek and regions on August 21

Residents in Bishkek and other regions of Kyrgyzstan are advised of potential power supply interruptions on August 21, 2026. The planned outages are being carried out by the local electricity network enterprises to facilitate necessary maintenance work.

In Bishkek, several streets including Ogonbaeva, Turusbekova, and areas within the "Archa Beshik" and "Ak-Orgo" residential masses are scheduled for power disruptions. Timings for these outages range from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., depending on the specific location.

The Chuy region will also experience power cuts across various districts. The Jayylsky, Kemin, Kant, Moskovsky, Panfilovsky, and Sokuluksky districts will see electricity supply suspended for maintenance. For instance, in the Jayylsky district, villages like Alekseyevka and Novo-Nikolayevka will be affected from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Other areas, including the city of Kemin and villages like Ilyich and Kayyndy, will face disruptions from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The schedule indicates that specific streets and residential areas will be without power for several hours, with the electricity companies urging affected residents to be prepared.
