Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek Arena Stadium to Officially Open in Late September

The grand opening of the new "Bishkek Arena" stadium is slated for the end of September, according to Askat Alagozov, the press secretary for the president of Kyrgyzstan. However, a preliminary opening ceremony will be held on August 31st to coincide with the VI World Nomad Games. This earlier event will feature heads of state attending the SCO summit in Kyrgyzstan, along with a parade of participating teams and a brief concert. Alagozov emphasized that the country views the construction of such large-scale projects as a collective achievement. He expressed a sincere desire to hold the stadium's main opening ceremony with broad public participation, creating a festive atmosphere. The "Bishkek Arena" is a new football stadium in Kyrgyzstan's capital, designed to accommodate 51,000 spectators. Its construction adheres to international FIFA and AFC standards, aiming to become the country's largest football venue.
