Kyrgyzstan's Kasymaliev inspects hospital, factory, new villages in Batken region

Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, conducted a two-day working visit to the Batken region, focusing on key infrastructure and development projects in the Leilek district. His itinerary included inspections of the Leilek General Medical Practice Center, a local industrial plant, and newly constructed villages established in the aftermath of a border conflict.

At the medical center, Kasymaliev learned that the internal medicine department had to close due to the building's poor condition. Medical staff requested a new, separate facility for internal medicine and neurology. Kasymaliev subsequently directed government agencies to develop proposals to address this issue.

The Chairman also visited the Mega Gazoblok KG plant, which manufactures autoclaved aerated concrete blocks using German technology. The plant boasts an environmentally friendly production process and a daily capacity of 1,200 cubic meters. Kasymaliev highlighted the importance of such industrial ventures for the economic growth of border communities and job creation.

Further inspections covered the new villages of Razzakov and Maksat in the Kulunda rural area. Significant funds from Kyrgyzstan's Stabilization Fund were allocated for water supply and sewerage systems in both villages, which are now operational. Road construction and paving are also underway in Razzakov, with foundation work for asphalt laying progressing in Maksat. During a meeting with residents, Kasymaliev stressed the importance of creating comfortable living conditions for those relocating to the new settlements and urged the timely and efficient completion of social facility construction.
