Kyrgyzstan's state budget revenue projected to reach 1.15 trillion soms by 2031

The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan has outlined its fiscal and investment policy for the period 2027-2031, projecting significant growth in state budget revenues.

According to the ministry's report, state budget revenues are expected to reach 791.1 billion soms in 2027. This figure is projected to climb substantially to 1.1486 trillion soms by 2031. The government's plan indicates that revenue will represent 28.9 percent of GDP in 2027, decreasing slightly to 23.1 percent by 2031.

Concurrently, state budget expenditures are also set to rise, from 758.7 billion soms in 2027 to 1.0494 trillion soms in 2031. Despite this increase in spending, the Ministry of Finance intends to maintain a budget surplus throughout the medium-term forecast. In 2027, revenues are anticipated to surpass expenditures by 32.4 billion soms, with this surplus growing to 99.2 billion soms by 2031.

The allocated funds are earmarked for key areas including economic development initiatives and the repayment of state debt. This fiscal strategy aims to ensure financial stability and foster growth within the Kyrgyz economy over the next five years.
