Kyrgyzstan Schedules Power Outages for July 16 Across Bishkek and Regions

Residents in Bishkek and various regions of Kyrgyzstan are advised of scheduled power outages on July 16, 2026. The disruptions are necessary for planned maintenance work by the electricity network enterprises, aimed at ensuring the stable operation of the power supply system.

In Bishkek, several areas will experience temporary blackouts. From 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, parts of Zhibek Zholu, Karpataskaya, Shair, Lermontova, and Kurmanaliev streets will be affected. Longer outages are planned for the "Uchkun" microdistrict (house 12) from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and the "Rukhiy-Muras" residential area (streets 1-6 and school No. 100) from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Other areas, including parts of Zhibek Zholu and Kantemirovskaya streets, will have power from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Throughout the day, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, several villages and microdistricts will be without electricity. These include Chong-Aryk village (Ulyanovskaya, Semetey, Shushensky, Severnaya streets), "Jal" microdistrict (house 23/1), "Archa-Beshik" residential area (Sary-Bulun, Ken-Suu, Suluu-Tor streets), and sections of Obskaya, Shushteb, and Dzhamgyrchinskaya streets. Additionally, "Aska-Tash" residential area, Lower Ala-Archa village, Tash-Dobo, Chong-Tash, Sadovoe, and parts of Karla Marksa street will experience outages.

The Chuy region will also see significant power interruptions. In the Zhayyl district, Kara-Balta city (various streets) and the villages of Budenovka, Kara-Suu, Stavropolovka, Toktosh, and Papanina will be affected from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Kemina district will experience similar outages in Kemina city and the villages of Chym-Korgon and Kayyndy. Kant district will see disruptions in Novopokrovka and Kirgshelk villages. Moskovsky district will have outages in Belovodskoye and Sadovoe villages. Panfilovsky district will be affected in Chaldovar and Panfilovka villages. Finally, Sokuluk district will experience power cuts in Sokuluk and Konush villages.
