Kyrgyzstan to Step Up Counterterrorism Measures for SCO Summit, World Nomad Games

Kyrgyzstan is intensifying its counterterrorism efforts as it prepares to host two significant international events: the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit and the World Nomad Games. The country aims to ensure a secure environment for all participants and attendees.

Adilet Orozbekov, Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, recently led a meeting of the coordination headquarters. This body is specifically tasked with overseeing security arrangements throughout the preparation phases and the duration of both major events.

The discussions and subsequent actions are focused on bolstering security protocols and readiness. This includes addressing potential threats and ensuring the smooth execution of security measures to safeguard the SCO summit and the World Nomad Games.
