La Crossover basketball event to feature influencers, new rules in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is set to host a unique basketball event, La Crossover, on August 1st and 2nd at the Luis Conde stadium. This innovative format reinvents the sport by combining basketball with digital entertainment and audience interaction, promising an agile, visual, and exciting experience that prioritizes showmanship.

Eight teams, assembled by managers including influencers like Rusherking and celebrities, will compete. These teams comprise professional, semi-professional, and streetball players. The event will feature never-before-seen rules such as a 4-point zone, special game-altering cards, and lower hoops designed to facilitate spectacular dunks and alley-oops.

The competition schedule includes a qualifying round, a dunk contest, and a shooting tournament on Saturday. The playoffs and finals for all three tournaments will take place on Sunday. Following its Buenos Aires debut, La Crossover will move to Córdoba on August 8th and 9th, with Facundo Campazzo serving as host.
