Lagos exams board schedules common entrance screening test for August 21

The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced that the Common Entrance Screening Test will commence on August 21, 2026, and conclude on August 24. The examination is slated to begin daily at 8 a.m. at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) in Magodo, Lagos. This screening is a crucial step for candidates seeking admission through the common entrance process.

All candidates are strongly advised to take note of the examination dates, time and venue, and make adequate arrangements to arrive at the centre early.

Registered candidates have been directed to access the examination portal to print their individual screening slips. The board strongly advises all candidates to carefully review the details on their slips, including their specific examination date and time. It is imperative that candidates bring these printed slips to the examination center as proof of registration and for entry.

The board stressed the importance of punctuality, urging candidates to make adequate arrangements to arrive at the PSSDC, Magodo, well before their scheduled examination time. The PSSDC has been designated as the sole venue for the examination. Adebayo Orunsolu, the Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, called on candidates to conduct themselves responsibly and adhere strictly to all examination rules and regulations to ensure a smooth and orderly process.
