Lagos revives monthly cadet table tennis tourney

The Lagos State Table Tennis Association (LSTTA) is breathing new life into its monthly cadet tournament, signaling a renewed commitment to fostering young table tennis talent across the state. The competition is set to commence on Saturday, August 23, at the prestigious Lagos Country Club in Ikeja.

This revival is driven by a clear objective: to provide a consistent platform for discovering and nurturing aspiring players. The LSTTA believes that regular competition is the bedrock of development, enabling young athletes to hone their skills, build confidence, and cultivate crucial match temperament from an early age. Chairman Tunji Lawal highlighted that such developmental structures have historically produced national team players, underscoring the importance of this initiative.
