Lali Espósito clarifies relationship with China Suárez: 'Not just anyone is my friend'

Argentine pop star Lali Espósito has addressed the nature of her current relationship with actress China Suárez, a former co-star from popular Cris Morena series like "Rincón de Luz" and "Casi Ángeles."

During an interview with influencer Martín Cirio, Espósito stated that while she and Suárez were once close, their friendship has naturally faded over the years due to work and life circumstances. "We are not friends. It's not that something happened, it's not that we fought, simply for many, many years, we haven't had a friendship," Espósito explained. She emphasized that she doesn't consider just anyone a friend, defining her close circle as those in her daily life, though she still holds affection for many acquaintances.

Espósito expressed that she wishes Suárez well, stating, "I always wish her happiness, whatever brings her joy." She affirmed that there are no hard feelings between them and that she hopes for Suárez's success in her career and personal life, including her family. "I swear to God that when I find out from someone in common about something good of hers, it makes me happy. And I want her to be happy," the singer said.

In other news, Espósito also addressed persistent rumors about Madonna potentially appearing as a guest at her upcoming concert at the Estadio River Plate. She laughed off the speculation, explaining the impracticality of bringing the iconic artist to Argentina. "I can't bring her to Argentina! Calm down... I would have to drive the private jet myself. I wish, but lower that expectation. That doesn't mean we aren't putting together an incredible show with powerful people. But Madonna is a lot, don't have that much faith in me," she told the audience.
