LaLiga President Tebas ranks Hugo Sánchez among league's top five icons

Javier Tebas, the president of LaLiga, has placed Mexican football icon Hugo Sánchez among the five most legendary players in the Spanish league's history. Tebas lauded Sánchez's remarkable career during the inauguration of the "Legends: The Ultimate Football Experience" exhibition in Mexico City.

Sánchez left an indelible mark on Spanish football, playing for Atlético de Madrid (1981-1985), Real Madrid (1985-1992), and Rayo Vallecano (1993-1994). He amassed 307 official goals for these clubs, with 234 of them scored in LaLiga's top division.
